Our efforts and results are acknowledged through awarding of three national support projects that Ministry of Education selected in 2014 such as being selected as ‘University that Teaches Well’, supervised by Ministry of Education for 8 years in a row, ‘Development Project of Universities that Lead Business and Academic Cooperation’ that connects universities and companies and ‘Specialized Project for Local University’ for training creative human resources, etc. In addition, our capability to cultivate talents that are practical on the job fields has been also recognized by being name on the list as “Excellent University’ for 2 years in a row in ‘Dream University for Young Men in 2014’ that the support capacity for employment and foundation and the employment rate are evaluated.

Hallym University of Graduate Studies has a goal to train leaders suitable in the glottalization era who possess international acumen for creative performance in global stages, proficient foreign language skills and specialized knowledges in professional fields. Our institute has Dept. of International Relations, Dept. of Convention Event Management, that global exchanges are practically managed, Dept. of Hearing, Dept. of U.S. Law and Dept. of International Radiation.

Hallym University Medical Center located in Pyeongchon-dong, Dongan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do opened in 1999 is the center hospital of Hallym University Medical Center with the best medical teams, devices and facilities. It runs the cranial nerves center, health promotion center, liver & digestive organs center, cardiovascular center, lung center, breast endocrine cancer, emergency center, etc. with 860 patient’s rooms and serves a role as an educational institute with education and research facilities such as Ilsong life science laboratory and Hallym genome application laboratory.

Gangnam Hallym University Medical Center opened in 1980 is the representative general hospital in the southwest part of Seoul pursuing the best treatment and medical service with the best characterized and specialized medical system. It has total 630 patient’s rooms and provides the best medical services with 13 specialized center and 30 medical offices. In particular, in the robot surgery center, patients are delicately operated for prostate cancer surgery, bladder cancer surgery, etc. with introduction of the latest robot surgery machine, Da Vinci Xi and it helps patients with fast recovery.

Since opening in 1984, Chuncheon Hallym University Medical Center is the center hospital in this region that has contributed to local residents in Gangwon-dothrough prevention of their diseases and promotion of their health, in a place vulnerable to medical treatment. It runs the digestive organs center, spine center cardiovascular center, cancer center, respiratory organ center, stroke center, joint center, etc. and acquired a certificate of Ministry of Health and Welfare related to patients’ safety and medical quality for the first time in Gangwon-do. It is making a leap into a medical center representative of our country by implementing medical support activities in global games such as Chuncheon Mime Festival and Chuncheon International Taekwondo Championship, which are global festivals.

Hangang Hallym University Medical Center opened in 1971 is a mother hospital of Hallym University Medical Center. It is the best specialized hospital in burn treatment, not only with the biggest scale in the burn-treatment but also global competitiveness in the facility and medical quality section. It performs treatment in cooperation with relevant medical departments such as department of burn surgery, department of plastic surgery, department of rehabilitation medicine, department of metal health medicine, department of internal medicine, department of emergency medicine, etc. treats burned victims. It presents various research thesis in domestic and foreign conferences and focuses its efforts to accelerate the development of new artificial skins and artificial organs using bioengineering. In addition, it leads development of burn treatment by trying skills such as escharectomy firstly in Korea.

Dongtan Hallym University Medical Center is the representative medical institute in the south part of Gyeonggi–do located in the first Dongtan new city, Seokwoo-dong, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi–do. The best medical teams provide high quality medical sservices with the latest devices focusing on three core goals, ‘Patient-centered’, ‘Eco-friendly’ and ‘Scientific high-tech medication’. It runs 9 specialized centers such as digestive organ center, cardiovascular center, respiratory organ center, thyroid incretion center, musculoskeletal center and artificial joint center and implements various researches by establishment of Hallym Laboratory of Translational Researches on the fifth floor of the main building. It runs 8 centers such as Ilsong head and neck cancer center that has global competitiveness, digestive organ center, cardiovascular center, organ transplant center, dementia prevention center and spine center. In addition, it runs hybrid surgery rooms to increase the speed of treatment while assuring highest levels of patients’ stability by diagnosing patients’ condition using the high-tech imaging equipment for cerebrovascular, cardiovascular diseases, etc. and operating blood vessel intervention and surgery simultaneously without the need to move between surgery rooms.
