Dept. of leisure sports was first established in 1999 and has been renamed into Dept of sports and leisure in 2015.
The department trains professionals with a filed job-centered course of study through integrated and complex researches on various sports leisure activities.
In particular, the department focuses on developing practical, field-centered talents by specializing a national qualification of a life sports instructor and youth field specialist(NCS applied).
Ultimately, the department trains leading community-typed sports and leisure professionals who lead the intensive local strategic industry and healthtainment industry through an intensive major course in a four-year Bachelor’s degree.
