Students explore field of advanced, comprehensive engineering in Civil engineering related to planning, designing, constructing and maintaining social overhead capital.

Students learn broad and intensive knowledges of all construction engineering by specialized education activities regarding structural engineering, soil mechanics, basic engineering, hydraulics, hydrology, measurement study, construction material study, construction management study and prevention engineering.

The department’s vision is to educate and train junior technicians to allow all mankind to enjoy the benefits of civilization by enhancing pleasant life environment in the 21st century and to cultivate experienced technical professionals who can contribute to development of various national basic industries by applying their capabilities, scientific knowledges and own opinions that can be applied to practice.
